Co-SalutatorianIn High school I graduated with a 4.3 GPA and was tied for second highest in my class, so I was a co-salutatorian. I got to wear a bunch of cool cords and medals on graduation day as well as give a speech to my peers. It was a very surreal moment for me because it had shown that all of my hard work had paid off. I was a member of the Biomedical Sciences program at Washington County Technical High School in Hagerstown, MD. This was a very rigorous program, but I learned a lot of valuable information that has given me an advantage in college. I also took many honors and AP classes that boosted my GPA and gave me credits already heading into college. This achievement shows my dedication to my academics.

I have played soccer for just about 14 years of my life. I started in about the 5th grade around the time the US Women's National Team won a world cup, so from a young age I thought my biggest goal in life was to go pro. I started off just playing on a recreation league and eventually I started to play club/travel soccer. Going into my freshman year of high school I had made a reputation for myself and got on the varsity team. This was a huge deal for me because it showed I had potential to play with the older seniors. I kept working at it and ended my high school soccer year with a county championship win. I got my name written in the local paper multiple times and had college recruits scouting me at games. I committed to play for Shepherd so I could play the sport I love and now I am better than ever.
